Featuring the greatest children-themed movies that we’ve all loved, the Movies in the Park will again bring out your inner child and provide a fantastic outdoor cinema experience that everyone in the community will enjoy.
This summer, bring your kids and the whole family to a fun and exciting outdoor cinema experience happening at different locations on the Gold Coast happening from October to March 2015. Following its launch in Nerang and Southport last October, the Movies in the Park will continue showing your favourite kiddie films in various venues across the city.
Catch your favourite movies to be shown on different dates. Among the films to see are Jumanji to be screened in Laguna Park; Frozen in Norm Rix Park and Broadwater Parklands; Lego Movie in Justin’s Park, Paradise Point Parklands and Central Park; Rise of the Guardians in Firth Park, Broadwater Parklands and Upper Coomera Centre; Mr. Peabody and Sherman in Norfolk Park, Justin’s Park and Lawrence Hinde Park; Arthur Christmas in Lawrence Hinde Park; Fred Claus in Coomera Rivers State School; Smurfs 2 in Nerang Country Paradise; How to Train Your Dragon 2 in Ingles Park and Central Park; Cloudy with a Chance of Metaballs 2 in Kingsmore Park and Norm Rix Park; Turbo in Green Grove Park; Rio 2 in Laguna Park; Ghostbusters in Paradise Point Parklands, and Red Dog in Paradise Point Parklands.
Making it more fun and exciting, these outdoor movie nights can be enjoyed for free. Just make sure to bring your rug, as well as great food and drinks to share over a picnic. You can also support local community food vendors there.
